Welcome to afronightsfestival.com

The Venue

This year’s Afro Night Festival promises to be the most amazing night to host an event at this historic venue – the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). Nestled in the heart of Nairobi, KICC is an iconic landmark that has stood as a symbol of African unity, progress, and cultural pride since its completion in 1973. With its distinctive towering amphitheater and breathtaking panoramic views of the city, KICC has hosted heads of state, international summits, and now – for one unforgettable night – the very best of African music, fashion, and dance.

Why KICC Makes This Night Unforgettable:

  • Historic Significance: KICC is not just a convention center; it is a piece of Kenya's post-independence heritage. Hosting the Afro Night Festival here connects modern African artistry with the legacy of Pan-African leadership.
  • Stunning Architecture: The venue’s iconic cylindrical tower and spacious courtyard provide a dramatic backdrop for live performances, DJ sets, and cultural showcases.
  • Prime Location: Situated in Nairobi’s central business district, KICC is easily accessible and surrounded by the vibrant energy of Kenya’s capital.
  • Unmatched Atmosphere: For the first time in years, KICC will transform into a nightlife hub – blending celebration with prestige. Attendees will dance under the African sky, just steps away from where history was made.

🏛️ The Venue: KICC, Nairobi's Iconic Landmark

Our event will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) , the largest convention center in Eastern and Central Africa. We will be utilizing multiple event spaces to curate a complete, immersive VIP experience:

  • The Tsavo Ballroom (Main Stage): This massive, state-of-the-art ballroom can host over 4,000 delegates. This will be the main stage for our headlining acts, featuring a massive sound system, spectacular lighting, and pyrotechnic displays.

  • The Amphitheatre (The "Vibes" Lounge): An elegant, tiered auditorium with a capacity of 771, designed for a more intimate setting. This space will feature a dedicated Chicago House and Afrobeat DJ lineup, a live podcast lounge, and a VIP meet-and-greet area.

  • Courtyards & Concourse (The "Bazaar"): These versatile outdoor areas will be transformed into an interactive marketplace. This space will feature a food court with Kenyan and Chicago street food, retail booths for women-owned brands, a champagne and cocktail garden, and a silent disco.

  • Plenary Hall (The "Philanthropy Hub"): Another large hall (capacity 4,000+) will be used during the day for our philanthropic activations, featuring keynote speakers, fundraising drives, and information booths for our partnered causes
